I was flat-out excited that this week’s photo challenge theme is geometry. I love geometry aesthetically, although I must admit that college geometry (which consisted of writing proofs for all the foundational geometric theorems that you get as “givens” in high school geometry) was the one upper-level math class I dropped. Anyway, I selected a handful of my favorite geometry-inspired photos that haven’t been posted elsewhere.
Every time I make a photo with lines leading out to the horizon, I think about the point at infinity where parallel lines cross, and smile contentedly. I love angles, lines, and symmetry. Love them. I hope it shows.
